Polyester Strapping

Polyester strapping is a heavier duty plastic strap and was originally manufactured as a replacement for Steel strapping, while the breaking strain is not as strong as steel it offers a strength range from 350-850kilos which is far in excess that of Polyrop strap. It also has an elastic memory unlike steel and is harder to break in transit due to this feature. It is safer and more compliant to use than steel strapping and does not rust or corrode. We can offer it in widths from 10mm up to 19mm in thickness. It is distinguished from Polyrop strap by its almost glassy appearance and high density. It can be sealed with serrated hand applied seals or with a friction weld tool.
