About Barton Jones Packaging
Family run, independently owned and straight-talking. We're based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, and have spent over 30 years helping clients solve packaging problems. We manufacture boxes in-house and stock the full range of packaging materials, so you can rely on one supplier for everything.
Packaging is all we do
Barton Jones Packaging Ltd is a family run, independently owned supplier trusted by an ever-increasing customer base to deliver the right solutions, quickly and at reasonable prices.
We are a true one-stop packaging shop. Our in-house manufacturing makes custom boxes to your exact size, while our warehouse holds multiple other packaging materials, from mailer bags, tapes and stretch film to recyclable bubble wrap, void fill, pallet wrap and much more. That means one supplier and one delivery for everything you need to ship, supported by a dedicated external account manager who visits you on site and a dedicated internal account manager in the office for quotes, orders and delivery dates.
We work with e-commerce brands, manufacturers and start-ups, and we’re happy to serve both small and large customers, from a handful of mailers right up to a full lorry load of boxes.

Founded
Barton Jones Packaging founded in October 1993 by Ashley Spark-Hall.
- 1994
Justin joins
Our current Managing Director Justin joined as a Trainee Sales Representative.
- 1995
Move to Letchworth
Barton Jones Packaging moved to Letchworth Garden City.
- 2000
Millennium bug
The millennium bug didn't wipe us out.
- 2006
Dunhams Court
Moved to Unit 3 Dunhams Court, Letchworth.
- 2007
£1m turnover
£1 million turnover achieved.
- 2008
Weathering the recession
The recession proved difficult, with lost customers and a temporary four-day week.
- 2012
Steven joins
Steven Benham, now our Commercial Director, joined as an apprentice.

£2m turnover
£2 million turnover achieved.

Manufacturing investment
Huge investment into manufacturing machinery.

Print capability expanded
Print options broadened for customers during a challenging COVID period.

New warehouse & 30 years
New warehouse and offices at Unit 6, celebrating 30 years of Barton Jones Packaging.

We hold BRCGS Storage & Distribution certification, offset our emissions through the Verified Carbon Standard, and are FSC® certified under licence code C214479. More detail is in our accreditations page, where you can also request copies of our certificates.
