Styles we make
Balloon box styles
Tall bubble balloon cube
The classic balloon in a box: a white 0201 cube tall enough for an inflated bubble balloon, tassel and weights, taped top and bottom.
Hamper tray
A shallow open tray for a filled bubble balloon resting on shredded fill and tissue, ideal for gift and celebration hampers.
Window lantern box
Die-cut arched apertures so the balloon is visible through the box, with a carry handle and a ribbon or bow finish.
Printed gift outer
Litho-laminated or digitally printed outers carrying your branding, occasion artwork or seasonal ranges.

Getting the pack right
Specifying a balloon box that arrives intact
Balloon parcels are the awkward end of e-commerce: very light, very bulky, and charged on dimensional weight. That pushes people towards the smallest possible box, which then crushes the balloon. The answer is to size the box to the inflated balloon and control the board grade instead, so the pack holds its shape in a stacked cage without adding unnecessary weight.
Keep the top and bottom taped with a strong hot melt or paper tape, use shredded kraft or tissue to stop the weights moving, and mark the box so it is loaded upright. If you ship year round, a made to measure size for your two best selling balloon arrangements usually costs less per unit than the nearest stock box it replaces.
For the wider picture on courier sizing, void fill choice and returns, our e-commerce packaging guide covers the four decisions that matter, and packaging for fragile products explains layered protection for the gift items that travel alongside a balloon.
We also supply the consumables that finish a balloon pack: shredded kraft fill, tissue, ribbon-safe tape and printed labels. Everything can come on one delivery from our product range.

Frequently asked questions
- What size box do I need for a balloon in a box gift?
- The right size depends on the inflated diameter, the topper, the tassel and how the arrangement sits in the box. Because balloons are light but bulky, height and clearance matter more than board weight. Send us the inflated dimensions and we will manufacture the box around the finished balloon.
- Can you make balloon boxes to our own size?
- Yes. We manufacture corrugated boxes to measure on our own box-making machines, with no tooling charge on standard case-maker styles, so a balloon box can be made to the exact height your inflated balloon needs rather than forcing the balloon into a stock size.
- Do balloon boxes need to be white?
- Most balloon senders use a white outer for a clean gift presentation, with kraft inside. We supply white top or fully white board, and can print a logo, message or ribbon detail on the outer.
- Will a balloon box survive a courier network?
- It will if it is specified properly. Balloon boxes are large and light, so they get thrown and stacked. A single wall box with a taped top and bottom is normally enough for a bubble balloon, but tall boxes benefit from a heavier flute or double wall on the walls that carry the stack load. We can also supply the shredded fill, tissue and tape to finish the pack.
- Can you make window or lantern style balloon boxes?
- Yes. Die-cut window and lantern styles that show the balloon through arched apertures are possible, as are hamper trays for filled bubble balloons resting on shredded fill. These are made to a die, so there is a one-off tooling cost, then repeat runs are straightforward.
- What quantities do you supply?
- From a single sample box through to pallet quantities. We hold stock for repeat customers on our own site, so seasonal balloon businesses can call off boxes through peak instead of storing a year's worth in a garage.
