Short answer

We have invested in a new GTS Box Master at our Letchworth Garden City site, expanding the range, size and quantity of corrugated boxes we manufacture in-house.

The investment is part of our ongoing growth in Letchworth and reflects the increasing demand we see for bespoke, large-format and heavy-duty corrugated packaging made in the UK.

What the new machine does

The GTS Box Master uses vibrating knives to cut and crease corrugated sheetboard directly from a digital design. Because changing from one design to another does not always require a new cutting forme, we can produce a wider variety of box styles economically, including:

  • Bespoke boxes made to exact internal dimensions
  • Large-format and oversized boxes
  • Heavy-duty and double wall boxes
  • Short runs, trials and prototypes
  • Fittings, dividers and internal packaging components

It sits alongside our existing platen die-cutting and converting equipment, so we can match each order to the most suitable and economical production method.

What it means for customers

Manufacturing more in-house gives us direct control over quality, scheduling and lead times. Customers benefit from:

  • Faster samples and physical prototypes
  • Shorter runs without tooling costs
  • More flexibility on sizes and quantities
  • One accountable supplier from design through to delivery

You can read more about how this works in practice in our guide to short-run bespoke boxes without tooling.

Where is the packaging made?
At our site in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, where we manufacture, stock, assemble and deliver packaging for businesses across the region and beyond.
