Assistant Warehouse Manager

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the day-to-day running of our warehouse. Working alongside the Warehouse Manager, you'll help lead the team, ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately, and maintain the high standards our customers expect.

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse supervisory experience who enjoys leading by example and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Support the Warehouse Manager with the daily operation of the warehouse.
• Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team.
• Plan daily workloads to meet customer deadlines.
• Ensure stock is received, stored and dispatched accurately.
• Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks and investigations.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
• Provide cover for the Warehouse Manager when required.

You'll help ensure the warehouse operates in line with our BRCGS Packaging Materials Standard by:

• Following company procedures and quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and product traceability.
• Ensuring excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Supporting internal and external audits.
• Identifying and reporting quality or compliance issues.

• Previous warehouse supervisory or team leader experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience leading and motivating a team.
• Good IT skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach with a commitment to quality and safety.

• Counterbalance and Flexi forklift licences.
• Experience in a packaging, manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Experience working within a BRCGS certificated business.
